I don’t know what forces conspired to draw me into the clutches of Java or how it even began. All I know is that I woke up one morning and found myself signing up for a basic Java programming course. The rest, as they say, was final!

I have no memory of ever wanting to study Java. I always had my mind set on C and its derivatives. Yet somehow I ended up on that course studying a language I would soon love.

It is with affection that I refer to my coding in Java as The Dark Arts.

So if you’re a Harry Potter fan you have nothing to fear. I’m not evil – well not entirely.
